The Gilroy Dispatch recently published Tennis club, pickleball players in dispute over use of courts which highlights the difficulties Gilroy picklers have been having trying to get temporary or permanent pickleball lines in one of the cities public parks.

Padlocking the courts at Las Animas park seems to be an effective solution to help Gilroy residents understand that pickleball is not welcome on courts that are owned by the Gilroy Tennis Club.

Luckily San Juan Batista has been more than welcoming to the more than 70 displaced players.
